Improvements havce been made to the synchronisation process when submitting an inspection.

When completing an inspection and submitting, the need to sync all data before the report can be generated often caused issues, especially if the user had poor connectivity at the time.

We have introduced a new way of processing this type of operation which allows the requests to be queued. When you send a report you will see a message simillar to the one below.

The Settings cog has a CTA indicator showing any reports that have not been sent

When you select settings there is a new Report Queue option.

When you select Report Queue you will see both the reports that have been sent and the reports that have not been sent.

Reports will be sent automatically though if you want to force the sending of the report select it from the list and you will see a screen similar to the one below which has a Complete Now button that will send the report straight away.

2. The dialog Cancel button has been changed to Close.

It is now possible to define which report will be the default.

This will allow custom reports to be created for different inspection templates.

The completion status/process, of ad-hoc and action items, is now governed by the setting in the inspection template (ie. whether or not "work is allowed"

If work is not allowed for the template

When you add items to an inspection (Either add or action items) then they will automatically be marked as complete regardless of whether the answer was unsatisfactory/needs attention
