INSPECTALL-23 "Review Items" Feature Review

The "Review Items" process has been streamlined.

When you click on an image you will see how many images there are and you can cycle through them.

Capturing the reason for declining an item has been requested by many customers so now when reviewing items in either the web portal or the app you can enter notes for both approval and rejection of items.

This is also captured in the web appliance.

INSPECTALL-240 Resume where "Left Off" (ie. "Working State")

There is a new setting, Return to Last View. When set to On, the app will resume where the user left off when suspending the app.

The default for this setting on App-Install is Yes/On.

When the app is suspended, and this setting is enabled, the app tracks where the user was.
- ie. which licensee, screen, project, inspection, inspection item (where applicable).

  1. When the app is resumed from being suspended, if this setting is enabled it attempts to return to that location.

  2. It cannot return to the "New/Add" screen.
    - ie. if on "New Inspection", It will track the project and return to the Inspections list for the project.
    - ie. if on "New Item", it will track the inspection and return to the Items list for the inspection.

  3. If the app is forced-closed, any "Left-off" save point is cleared, and the app starts as normal next time.

  4. If in resuming the app there is any issue resuming where left off, the app will start at the home page as normal.

INSPECTALL-242 Restore photo guidance for customers

Photo guidance has been restored for customer inspections.

INSPECTALL-244 Structured Inspections for Defects

Structured Inspections can be used effectively for capturing ad-hoc defects (eg. Maintenance items). These inspections can be comlpeted by customers, just as non-structued inspections are done today

Refer to this article for more information.

INSPECTALL-246 Notifications for Inspectors

Previously, the inspector who did the inspection on a project was not seen as an Object Contact like Manager or Supervisor. A change has been made to allow notifications to be sent to the inspector who did the inspection.

When adding the role Onsite Inspect - Inspector to a notification you must tick Only Object Contacts (Otherwise every contact with the role will receive the notification).
